Chief, I REALLY hope you can go, I want to walk under your truck. :p

Mendonca00, I actually live in Visalia, Exeter is so UNBELIEVABLY close. We can travel in a pack!

So we're going to be in pismo for two days, right? Where are some good places to stay at that isn't TOO expensive?

BTW, I must be an idiot cause in my last post I didn't mention that I'm leaving for Pismo tonight... I won't have my Exploder up there though. I'm riding up in a white f/s chevy and will be riding a white '03CRF450 dirt bike. If anyone is out there and sees me say hello!!

Lockers are the sh!t. It basically makes the axles spin as one, instead of one losing traction and freewheeling and the other one doing nothing. Basically, it'll get you through a lot more obstacles and help ya stay unstuck.

Lockers can get very expensive, not to mention the cost of install. I wouldn't mess around with gearing myself or locker installs, so I had someone do it for me. I think there's one out there thats just a plug-and-play type of thing, thats easy to install. (somebody else might wanna talk about this).

Parts
-anywhere from 250-850

Install
-usually about 250/ax.

just checking in from my brothers place in SLO. we are going out to the dunes at grover beach (i think) tomorrow to ride. i'm actually in pismo right now at my brother's house. damn houses are tiny out here.
i've never seen so many lifted trucks in my life as out here in cali. every body and their mom has a pre-runner styled truck out here! its obvious that a lot of them are street queens still, but geez! and i'm from the redneck south! saw a mcneil built explorer (at least the sticker says so) in SLO yesterday. it looked like it actually gets used a lot though! i had to take a pic of it. weather is nice but its been really foggy on the beach. not just in the morning either, its been like that all day today.
i'll look around for any explorers but i've only seen that one here. have fun on your run guys!

Count me in for one truck. I am either going to drive the X down or cruise down with my friend in his truck. As far as camping I am still considering motel 6.
