Deck Dimmer feature?

So I bought this Pioneer DEH-P4400 about 4 months ago, it's a decent deck....it does it's job. Anyway it has this feature where it'll dim the lights on it when my headlights are turned on, and I know my factory stereo had this option too. Well BestBuy in all of their glory didn't hook it up for me, does anyone have any ideas as to how I go about wiring this, easily?

One of the wires coming out of the dash has the dimmer feature...you will need a secong gen radio expert on this....but in the set up menu...you will need to click it to "on" also

Make sure the feature on the unit is enabled before you assume the wiring wasn't done correctly. If you need, I can describe it on my Pioneer unit. Also instruction PDFs are on their website.

If you can't find the correct wire from the factory harness, I believe you can use any 12V wire. You'd either want to use one with a switch obviously or one leading to one of the dash lamps or maybe the ashtray lamp.

I'm sure best buy used a harness that plugs into the factory wiring. Look for an orange wire coming out of it.

It should be there, I bought my harness from best buy and there was an orange and a orange/white wire.
