Vehicle Specs

1) get under truck
2) take out torsion bar bolts (theres one on each torsion bar)
3) put new bolts in
4) tighted them

if you tighted them all the way , your gonna have a much rougher ride; so I would recommend not tightening them all the way.

Wow, a thread on how to remove a bolt. A new low for the forum.

BTW, the extended bolt method is not a very safe way to go. There is alot of load on the bolts and they have been known to pop out during extreme maneuvers. Having longer bolts would only make this worse. If you want a lift and can't afford the Superlift or RCD, then consider getting stiffer rated torsion bars from Ford.
