I think the piercing was just a "pasty". I don't think the nip actually made an appearance.

That's what I thought it was too. But I can't be sure because this video isn't working right.

In all its glory: www.drudgereport.com

Absolutely planned - and a pathetic attempt to try and invigorate Janet's career a la Madonna/Britney. Speaking of which, was I the only one who found it very odd she was even there when all she had to sing was 3+ year old songs???

What is that on her nipple? I think it would have been better for her career if he had ripped her pants off and mounted her on the stage.

It was a nice boob, but good god how trashy can you get. There are millions of kids watching this stuff and they show that, it is kind of pathetic and sorry. I know that if I had a kid I would have been a little upset with CBS. But it still was a nice booby.

Don't they realize that the Superbowl draws young viewers? What does an action like that say for little girls? Whoring yourself is the way to be liked?

I am a guy, but that was obnoxiously stupid. Fod God's sake, think of the children!

LOL, now MTV (which "produced" (horribly, IMO) the halftime show) and Timberlake are apologizing and claiming it was all an "accident."

HOUSTON, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The tearing of Janet Jackson's costume was unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance.
MTV regrets this incident occurred and we apologize to anyone who was offended by it.

Bulls**t - if you've got the "guts" to do something like that, have the balls to admit it. Morons...

Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show: "We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."
