I think I was more offended by the way Kid Rock was wearing the American Flag, then Janet's Boob..

I agree with the policy to not show the streakers on tv and encorage them butu I would love to see when the patriot linebacker nailed him.

Well I for one have seen pasties and this is definitely not a pasty. You can see the bar going through the "N" which hold the star shaped device on.

ok guys... the far off photos i'm letting stay but not the closeups. its obvious now that these images can be found easily on the net so you guys that want to see it should be able to find them easily. nudity is still nudity, whether it was accidentally shown on national tv or not.

I share your opinions 100%. Obviously being a prudish nation hasn't helped lower the amount of sex crimes we see every year.

While on lunch break today, I was listening to Neal Boortz and a caller called in and said during a preview of preformers between the 1st quarter end and 2nd quarter beggining they showed Janets boob for a brief second. If any one taped it let me know if it's true. Maybe it will get the spotlight off Chester Jackson, NOT

There are a lot of children each year who watch the Superbowl with their parents. Not only is it embarrasing to the parents but setting a poor example for the youth of America. A lot of these performers are heroes to these kids and should set the proper example, not crotch grabbin' every two seconds like Nelly was or what Justin and Janet were doing. Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket?

Yeah, evidently Janet has a new album coming out soon - the single had been released to stations, but today a C&D (cease and desist) evidently went out to sations to pull it - perhaps until the controversy dies down?

I agree, it's all about business. The refreshing part is that the majority of America knows when they're being played (at least in this instance) and doesn't seem to like it; nevermind being "offended..."

.. apparently he's done this at several events and now has to turn in his passport to ensure he can't get into certain sporting events, as he's banned (wimbledon, ...)at many now.
I don't even think this streaking was caught on video, at least professionally.

MTV won't host another SuperBowl (ya right) but at least it's still ok to subject our kids to violence, or listen to Bono (U2) use F*** the proper way on tv.

...and yes, as we stuff Janet back in, wtf with Kid Rock? That was the biggest faux pas of the show...

Leno showed video of the streaker getting popped by a linebacker last night on his show so you might be able to find it if you do a search. And the guy's not even a "full fledged" streaker - wearing some sort of jockstrap deal to cover certain parts. If you're going to do it, do it right... :p

As for the Janet thing, I do believe that it's been blown completely out of proportion with the FCC now talking about a full-scale investigation. That said, I still say it was a stupid, inappropriate (for the audience) and lame attempt to upstage the "Madonna/Britney Kiss." The sad part is that I guess it accomplished its goal because there are so many sheep in this country. [Beavis & Butthead voices]"Dude, I just saw her nipple. Hehhehheh, huhuhuhuh."[/Beavis & Butthead voices] And we get all indignant when we hear that other countries think we're all about sex and excess. We, the actual residents of this country may know it's not true, but when that's the imagery beamed 'round the world, I guess we shouldn't be surprised to find that many other cultures feel that way. One last thing on this - why do so many people excuse bad behavior by pointing to even worse behavior? Isn't that what children do?

As for Kid Rock, I don't know why but his wearing of the flag really didn't bother me. Perhaps because from everything I've seen/heard from him it seems he genuinely loves this country and wasn't intending to offend/shock (like Janet ) by doing so. Also there were plenty of "proper" flags being waved in the background during one of his abbreviated songs. Was he incorrect in doing so? Yes. But then, if you wanted to get REALLY picky about flag protocol, all those people who have stickers on their vehicles which aren't placed on the right fender are technically "wrong" too...
