4WheelParts just opened up my front diffy to install a TracLoc, since that (supposedly) is the only thing made for my front diffy in an LSD or locker.

Guess what? Spicer/Dana doesn't make a TracLoc for it either! The application chart SAYS they do but it doesn't really work. 4WheelParts called them once they dropped my diffy and after much discussion they confirmed that there is no TracLoc application for me.

All of us with new models have NO options and must remain open in front. What's it gonna take to get something done???

I am being serious. :) I would bet there has to be something made for the front of the newer F150's right? Well with a few mods I bet you could get that diff up in there working with your Dana 35 outers. So you would be beefy too. Its an 8.8 Reverse Cut I belive thats in the front of F150's. You would have to do some research here but it might be well worth looking into if your wanting to keep that IFS front end. Course by the time you go through the trouble to swap that all otu you probably could get a solid front axle.

The other thought is to see if you can have some sort of front disconect/hubs put on and see if you can have it lincoln locked. Then you would have MAJOR front traction. Cheap too.

I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR THAT!!! DAMN!!!
Well shoot. What's a guy to do. The trucks in the shop today, so I guess I'm gonna get a call today about the same thing

Yea, They are still thinking about it. Yes they do not make one for our IFS Dana35's. I just wonder if one for the TTB can be modified to work in ours?

you know what you guys need to do is give ARB a call and offer your vehicle as a test/demo vehicle!

Well warn did just release the hub conversion kit for the Dana 30 for the Jeep. Which is of a simular design I think to what you all got. So it is possible. This setup did force you to change over to a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern however. I would wonder how that hub is made and if you can just go in there and mess around enough to figure out how to lock and unlock it. Your best bet is just to put a hard locker in the rear and not worry about the front for now. At least then you would have true 3 wheel drive. Instead of 2 1/2 wheel drive like you do with the limited slip.

No wonder I've had such an interesting day. Everyone check out my new thread on what I learned. This info is way too important to bury in this thread; it deserved it's own thread. We've been mistaken all this time concerning what differential we thought was in our new models.

And yes Ryan, after this new discovery, it is obvious now that the ARB rear will be the only way to go and I will have a 3 wheel drive, but never 4.

Well I noticed that ARB's US location seems to be in Seattle, about 20 miles from where I live.. might be worth it to me to go pay them a visit...
