dude, your ebrake shoes are the rear brakes. there is no other brake except the rear discs

My '95 has the e-brake built into the inside of the rotor. I'm sure your '97 does also.
I got mine from NAPA. Around $40-50.
Have fun replacing them. I had one BE-ATCH of a time with mine.

God help you. I need those and couldn't find em ANYWHERE, and I looked everywhere. I think aftermarket suppliers knows no one wants to replace those foolish things. Between the cost and the difficulty, I threw in the towel.

All of my local part stores including NAPA sent me to the dealer or a speciality shop called San Antniono brake and clutch. That shop put new pads on the old shoes for about $30. Only took them a day and they work fine. Not sure if you have a specialty brake place near you or not. Guy at the shop said the shoes fall apart if you ever drive off with the e brake on. Mine were in peices when I pulled my rotors off. Have had a little trouble getting them readjusted once I put them back in.

I'm not sure, but I believe they listed as brake shoes. Since drums were not available that year I asked for the dimensions of the shoes. They turned out to be for the e-brake.
I'll try to get the part # tomorrow. (if I don't forget)

part# AE-10701PB

Sorry it took so long. There's been really bad lightning storms all the time the past few days here. I've had my computer unplugged.
Make sure to keep the old shoes. There's a core deposit on them.

NAPA can get them for around $50. The also come with a lifetime warranty.
