MASCMAN's '98 Sport now with 35s!

Well, after running around with the TT and shackles for about a year+ I decided to do the lift right. I have 4.56s so I decided to go for 35s. Here is a pic to check out. It is my two favorite things...my daughter, Haley, and the Exploder! Haley is 57" tall for comparison:

I did the SOA on the rear. I had 4 door leaves with an add-a-leaf and it was way too high. I removed the add-a-leafs which brought it down about 2" and then raised the Superlift up to about a 5". The rear is still 1" higher than the front, but it looks fine.

I welded on the perches to tilt the pinion up and it seems to be ok. I was getting pretty good gas mileage with the 33s...maybe I need some 4.88s now!

I'm getting the 3" taller spindles and longer Torsion bolts. After SOAing the rear, I thought I'd be looking for 33s, but I think now I wanna look for 35s and some nerf steps!

karl_burns- Don't forget that there is a 3" body lift on there too...you'll need it to clear 35s. My total lift is about 8" front and 9" rear. I trimmed the inside rear of the front fender which rubbed at full turn.
