Yesterday I rolled my X. :(

I'm fine. My dog got ejected but miraculously he's ok.

The guy who lives across the street from where I rolled does body work and says it's totalled.

Glad to hear eveyone is okay. You know you have to tell us how right?

How did it happen?

I came over the top of a hill and there was a sharp curve. I went off the road and almost got it back on the road when the tires caught and it rolled.

It landed on the tires and when I looked over, my dog was standing in the middle of the road just staring at me.

The engine was still running and it rolls and steers fine (found that out getting it onto the flatbed). However, there's some serious body damage.

I just filed a claim and someone is supposed to be calling me on Monday.

I'm glad to hear you and your dog are alright. Losing a car unexpectedly sucks. Any ideas on a future vehicle?

WOW

....you are lucky:eek:

My brother-in-law was thinking about selling his Ranger about a month ago but I think he may have scrapped that idea. I'm going to check with them later today.

However, I took care of a ticket in June and they screwed something up and suspended my license for an unanswered ticket. So, I have to get that cleared up so I can get my license back before I can even buy a new vehicle.

If I had just kept going straight, I would have ended up in a corn field. That would be a vast improvement compared to attempting to recover and rolling it. Hind sight is 20/20.

wow, that sucks, good to hear no one was hurt, cept the x.

Looks, like you could be the next one with a convertable X! Glad to hear your ok!
Ya know... that has actually occured to me. It would definately be my cheapest option. Since they're probably not going to give me much for it, maybe I'll be able to buy it for nothing and keep it as a toy.

glad noone was hurt........sssoooooo......what are you gonna do with those hella's on the front?;) ;)

Let me know

Ryan

Wow Kevin,

You are extremely lucky. Too bad about the damage to your truck, hopefully the insurance will cover it. :(

I have a question about the tires. Did the tires lose traction in the corner causing the truck to skid off the road and the initial loss of control? Was the road wet? I want BFG's but nothing corners like Toyo AT's.

So, I found out yesterday that I don't have collision on my truck.

All my pics can be found here

It runs fine but obviously will take a good amount of work to make it drivable. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've considered making it a convertable but since I have to replace the windshield frame, I'm thinking that it may be just as easy (hard?) to replace the roof too.

As far as I can tell, it needs:
hood
both front fenders
front l, front r, rear l doors
windshield
front r door window
grill
both bumpers
windshield frame
roof

The hood looks good from the front of the roof rack back

dns error. Can't see the pics.
