lookin good man! My truck is gonna look identical to yours after this weekend....hopefully. Only i did shackles instead of the OME springs.

Did you have to do any trimming to fit them 33's??

A little trimming on the inside of the front fender closest to the door on both sides. When your done, you just have to protect the raw metal with some spary liner or paint and put some cloth or plastic over the trimmed area or crap will get inside the body and rust on the inside.

TarHeel085,
Here ya go. Light trimming. No rubs yet!

By the way, this is before painting the cut metal, covering up the new hole with plastic, and using epoxy to permanently attach the bottom trim peice. The bottom trim peice's mounting screw was cut away, so it just hangs there until you epoxy it.

Holy ****, you cut a lot of it away didn't you!! Little over zealous with the cutter there buddy....LOL. I cut away about half that, but then again my model is different from the 98.

Looks good, nice rims...I like that look and they are cheap too. Are those 8's or 10's?

They are 8's. If less were cut away, I would ripp my fender off!! If you've got the wheel turned and the front end is flexing, it can still rub! 12.5's pretty damn wide.

I have 12.5's on 10's and they only rub if it's at full flex, I could trim a bit more, I am too lazy....lol. Either that or I use a sledge to push it in more.

Hey man nice truck. I't looks awesome rith those rims. Good chioce on tires too. lets see it muddy:)

Looks good, but you should squeeze .5" - 1" more out of you TT to even it up. The front look's like it's sitting a little bit lower.

JMT1SOMR,
The torsion bolts bottomed out at one inch. I would have gone higher, but I couldn't!!

how exactly do you plan on covering that hole? wont that just defeat the whole purpose of cutting it out to begin with??

I'm covering the new hole, not where the old fender wall was. The new cover will be inset about 2 1/4 inches allowing the wheel to turn without rubbing.
-E

You know that expanding foam, that also works well in filling those holes up. Then you could do like you said and put a cover over it.

Good Idea!!

I think the 33's look great, you should stick with them rather than sell them. I'll keep an eye out for your truck in West Chester. Are those steel or aluminum rims?

BenS,
You're right, I mainly wanted my full turning radius with the 32's, but, I like the 33's so much, I think I can live with a 3 point turn every once in a while.
