Hi all! This is my first post here. I've looked into your thread many times for info and advice and was hoping to get some help.
I've been slowly setting up my truck for overland camping. Been waiting for my stock tires to wear out and the time has just about come.
What would be the largest size tire I could get with no rubbing or some kind of spacer / leveling kit that would aid with no rubbing on a larger size tire?? 06 Explorer XLT v8 4x4
Mainly looking for a little extra ground clearance and better performance on fire trails, mountain roads, sand, and snow. My stock setup has served me well and I've pushed it to the max and have faired well but hit a few snags here and there. Definitely not doing any kind of rock crawling or anything "extreme!"
Also I'm trying to do this somewhat budget friendly. Maybe around 1k all in.
