1989 Ford Ranger Vin stamped on Chassis

Hello everyone. Does anyone know where the VIN stamped on the Chassis in located on a 1989 Ford Ranger (USA model)?

The passenger side frame rail, top in front of the coil spring. It should also be on a tag on the firewall. When I helped my dad scrap his 86 ranger, I noticed the vin was also on the underside rear of the cab near the body mounts.
