I have seen bits and pieces about this subject mostly by viewing on my phone. What I have is a 2000 Ex Eddie Bauer 5L AWD. I have the superlift 4" kit that comes with everything I need. One problem is when I had it in the air to swap out the Transmission I then realized that the front drive shaft is that solid one. I realize that it is too short. My main question is that I've heard that earlier model ranger front shafts will bolt right in and be long enough for the lift. If i could please get some input on this because I don't really want to spend the 600 to buy and get the superlift shaft sent up here.
Thanks in advanced!
