2000 ford explorer swap fm146

So I have a 2000 ford explorer 4.0 4x4 with a auto and I got a manual transmission from a bronco2 it the fm146 and I know the mix Feelings about him. But I'm wondering if my ECM out of that Explorer will work with that transmission. If I can just get it flashed. If all my gages and stuff will work on my dash

If you’re gonna go through the pain of a manual swap, do yourself a favor and install the M5OD. Much stronger box.

OK I kinda figured I'll just do it the easy way lol

But say I just wanted to put that transmission in there for now. Just for the time being. Can I just get the ECM tuned?
