2004 Ranger xl help re Cab & motor move

Looking for some advice on moving the cab + motor + tranny off one (bad) frame and onto another good frame. Have already got the "new" frame ready as a rolling chassis with parts from my donor truck. What's the best way of proceeding - motor and tranny out first from donor truck or disconnect everything and lift the cab etc up off the motor/frame and then move the motor/tranny? Any advice gratefully accepted, thank you, Emrys.

Cab off, then swap the powertrain. Much easier to assemble it the way the factory does - everything out in the open.

I agree as long as you are able to lift the cab high enough to install it over the motor. I have done a few...
