2005 Ford Explorer traction control light

My friends parents have a 2005 Ford explorer Xlt the traction control light is on I believe that the traction control won't turn off dose anyone know how to disable it or resette it? Thanks in advance for any replys

If the lights on it’s probably not working at all. The light tells you there’s a fault. You’ll need the codes or you’re shooting in the dark.
