FYI- the 2011 vehicles are reaching the end of the typical lifespan for an auto battery. Mine died recently and there is essentially NO WARNING from the vehicle before the battery goes bad. With the onset of Winter, a $130-180 maintenance should be in your future planning. Replacing the battery is VERY easy so don't feel like you need to have the dealership do it. I know our local parts store will replace one for free while you wait, if you don't want to tackle it yourself.

Also consider some new batteries for your key fob. Cr2032, I think. Don't do them at the same time as the car battery... Fair warning! :)

I replaced the original battery in my '07 Ranger in February this year. I didn't replace it because it was bad, I replaced it because it was 9 years old.

Replaced the one in our 2011 November 20, 2015........hard failure.
