I have not done an extensive research on this but here is my problem:
When I push the 4x4 button, nothing happens. Not even the clicks from the rear module as with other people. So I got concern about the module and did the self-test on it.
To do the self test on the module:
- I first pushed the white button sticking out of the bottom, and the led turned on and stayed on.
- I disconnected the harnesses and pushed the white button one more time and I hear two clicks and led flashes four times. I did this several times to confirm, and does the same thing.
Wouldn't this tell me that my module is OK?
So why don't I hear clicks when I push the 4x4 button?
It almost seams that the 4x4 button and the module are not communicating.
Is there a fuse in between the 4x4 button and the module?
I would like to know this before I venture on taking the electric motor out of the transfer case.
Thanks for your help.
