.012 is fine. .015 is really the maximum

after 100k miles they do tend to loosen up. You can reset the backlash, but you will quickly find out the stock shims are one peice, at pre-determined sizes. So a new shim kit will be needed.

nice... it'd be nice to have the selectable locker but they are so exspensive and there is always the chance on them not engaging...
