98 explorer sport lowering blocks question

So I want to lower my sport and I've done a ton of research on here already, but can't seem to find the answer to my question. I understand that I need to put blocks inbetween the spring and axle, but there are already 4 small blocks where I would be putting the lowering blocks. My question is what am i supposed to do with those?! Add the blocks to them? or take them out all together? Put them on top of the axle?? I was confused when I saw them. Any input would be helpful, thanks!!

You have a Sport, which had a Mono Leaf set-up. Leave those "blocks" in place. Place your drop block right under them. Once you take it apart, it is pretty obvious how it works.
