Like the title says, I have a '99 5.0 2wd that whines or hums under acceleration. You start to hear it about 25-30 mph and then will stay there under load. If you take your foot off the gas, the noise disappears.
It's been there awhile, but it was so quiet due to the worn out BFGs I had on there. I just put new Michelins on and now all I hear is this whine.
Any ideas? Or what to check for?
Truck has 197,000 miles on it.
