well i was in the junk yard yesterday and i saw a newer explorer i know where they all are!!! and this was a 1st gen brown 4 door 4WD with manual hubs, with no roof rack (or holes) and no rear wiper,(so is was a cheap one) on the rear bumper there was no holes so i would guess it is a 91-92, on the inside there is a 60-40 split cloth seats, but here is cool part its an auto, but has a 4x4 stick, with 2 high, 4 high, netral, and 4 low.

How rare is this? and would it be hard to put in mine with a push butten 4x4??

hell yeah dude I would say go for it. Its a lot more reliable than push button, but im not sure how difficult it would be.

An auto ex with a manual T case? Not completely rare but not very common either.
The shift boot is likely the most valuable part from that truck :)
The 91-92 auto's were not upgraded like the later model ones (93+) internally so running that trans might be working backwards without a rebuild
But the T case would be an awesome addition to any exploder.

You can convert from push button 4x4 to a manual t case no problem. Lots of members on this board have, try a search.
