AC in 2010 Explorer

Just had to replace AC compressor and flush system in my 2010 Explorer

Is this a common problem??

I don't know how common it is for a 2010 but I have a 2000 5.0 awd (purchased new) and just this morning I ordered an ac compressor to replace the original one. Living in Arizona, trust me, it's been used quite a bit over the last 15 yrs & 94000 miles lol
