Has anyone done this?

My old man's Adrenalin has 255/50R20 Pirelli's that only got 25,000 miles. I'm looking at 265/50R20 Michelin Premier LTXs as a replacement (better warranty, and seemingly very strong reviews).

Has anyone gone a size up? I'm aware that the spare also will need to be replaced, as running one smaller tire on an AWD setup is a no-no.

As an aside, his '08 Adrenalin just turned 25,000 miles. "Sunday driver."

I am running 265's. With no problem... actually running 265 up front with a 295 45 20 rear but the tires have the same rolling diameter so no issues. As for the spare.. it should be ok as long as you keep the speeds low and the distance as short as possible.

I run 275/55-20 LTX Michelins on my 08 Adrenalin. I tried 275/60's originally and had to massage the plastic wheel well liners for clearance. I did have a problem with them (60's)bottoming out at the top of the front fender well. At the time I didn't want to change out the struts for additional clearance on the front,so I went down to the 55's.
