Last week, my yellow airbag light came on at start up. When I turn the key, it flashes 4 times, pauses, then flashes 2 times. This started after I put the truck in reverse and heard a loud thunk come from under the truck (probably has nothing to do with light coming on - coincidence?). There are no other symptoms and the truck is running fine. Is it dangerous to drive the truck with this light on? I've read that LFC 42 code means that the driver’s side crash sensor mounting has failed. Is this an easy fix? A DIY? Or should I take it to a shop. If a shop fixes it, can anyone give me a guesstimate on the cost? Thank you ahead of time for your help/advise.

Hey, there are two of you in this forum right now with this issue. Both of you received the same link, please let us know the detail in what you found. Especially if this was the fix.
