Bigger Front Disks In Rear?

Does anyone know if it's possible to put the larger front brake rotors and calipers on the rear? Just a thought that's been rolling around my head:navajo:

But why doeseth though needests a set of thy larger brakes in the rear?

I was hoping they would just slip on? I figure if it's easy enough...and I do have a local "pick-n-pull" yard... then why not? Couln't hurt anything
