Body Lifts

I want to give my truck a little more clearance for when I do want to play. Body lifts seems pretty cheap but some people have told me not to get them because they mess everything up cause it pulls the body above the engine and various things. Is there any truth to this? Any side effects of a body lift?

I've got no problems with my 3in Performance Accesories body lift...The only complications were breaking the rusty bolds loose and slightly modifying the bumper brackets

Mess everything? Like what?? I've got my 3" lift on and have no problems at all. Out in the field you're better off with it since this alone might save damage to your rockers plus gives you a bit more clearance and room to install some nice, big tires. Pete is right though. People have problems putting them on since most of the time bolts won't budge.
