So today I overhauled the two front brakes on my Ex, the past couple days they've been giving me ABS problems. while cleaning them one of the cylinders accidentally slipped out of the caliper and green fluid came rushing out, figuring thats brake fluid I decided to add a little more...
long story short, from what I hear the green fluid was HSMO brake fluid and is very expensive and cannot be combined with any other fluids... too bad I already put some advance DOT-3 fluid in there. While testing it out i can pound the brakes all I want but they're weak (don't know if they're self-adjusting but I tried just in case..). they bareeely work. Should I just flush the brake system and put all of one or the other in there? or do I need to flush it and put HSMO back in there.. or have I caused a huuge problem thats going to cost a lot of money?
