CD changer wire harness

Does anyone know the pinout for a factory CD DJ/CD changer. I am trying to determine which wires are the audio input and how to "fool" the stereo into thinking the changer is present so that I can input IPOD audio. There are 10 wires. Curiously, there is also an unused 10 pin RJ style connector inside the console where the changer is located. Any idea what this is? Is it related to the audio system.
