CLEAR TAILS...LEGALITY?? & clears for 95-97

Ok.... for those of you who live in Colorado here is the scoop on all clear tails. They are leagal in Colorado if you have two red reflectors on the rear of your X that can be seen from 300 ft. I called the Colorado State Patrol and the officer looked up the state statutes. No where in them does it state that your tail lights need red reflectorsin them. Also Nopi.com has all clears and clear and red tails for 95-97 Xs for around $90.00, i just bought a pair of the all clear ones. I plan to put some red reflective tape between my bumper and the bottom of my hatch. :fire:

the general rules of thumb are :
1 - no white light to the rear when in foward motion, or on city/county/ or state roads (public)

2 - lenses must be DOT appvd, any/all non-DOT appvd lenses are considered for show purpose only and are not legal on any public road
