98 ex has a very slow leak on the front differential, where the drive shaft enters. Is this a big job to replace the oil seal and will I need any special tools?

same here, anybody done this before?

I had Doug's Transmissions in Monroe do mine about a year ago. First they replaced just the seal, but it leaked again a week later. They replaced the seal AND the pinion shaft that time. The leak was gone until about two months ago, but it's back. I need to get it in to see them again soon. It's drivin' me nuts!

mine was done 2 years ago by a local shop for $120. Still good.

Well, at least I know where not to go. Monroe is too far anyways, I live way on the other end ;-)
