Hi all, in a pickle as my truck has a temporary fuel cap and mot centre say its a fail, so off to ford and bought a new cap, but it dont fit, its a screw in type and the neck on the truck has slots for a bayonnet type fitting, ford cant help other than wanting a small fortune to replace the lot, anyone got a good condition filler neck and cap for a 1997 2nd gen explorer please, it is a metal plate with 3 bolts i think that fix it behind the fuel flap then about four inches of metal pipe at the back that the rubber hose from the tank slips onto, cheers, jim
