i want to get rid of my boring stock gauge and get round ones, four in the dash and 2 on the a pillar, but how hard will it be to put this aftermarket gauges in? wiring how hard is it?

Wiring isn't very hard. You'd need to splice everything. You will need a correct wiring chart for your year so you know what wires go where. The hard part would be mounting those gauges. You would have to be creative & be all custom. For the piller there's a ranger pod you can use that can be modded a little to fit the 1st gen X. Search on that part.

When I ordered my gauge pod. I believe that it was for a 93-97 ranger or something like that and it fit perfectly. I got it from sfxperformance.com if that will help ya. It was easy hooking the gauges up. Ive got oil pres. and water temp on my a pillar and indiglo in the dash
