so i already asked a question about my oil gauge, but if the temp guage doesnt move at all, is that my thermostat or how should i go about fixing it. i let my truck run for about 5 minutes before i go to work(45 degrees outside) but its parked in my garage. now i drive 45 minutes city and highway to get to work, the needle never moves.

bad temp sensor. They are cheap and easy to replace. The temp sensor is the one with only one wire leading to it. Right up by the thermostat housing.

The trick to installing it is, put your thread tape around the new one then remove the old one and quickly insert the new one so you don't lose much coolant.
