Hi everyone, new to the forum (though Google has brought me here many times in the past!) I just replaced my '03 Ranger with an '06 Eddie Bauer V8, and so far I am loving it! However I'm a little sad to let the Ranger go because I had made it into exactly what I wanted it to be, but it needed some work and things change and having a 6'3" tall husband and a two year old crammed into a regular cab Ranger with me just wasn't working anymore. Mind you this didn't happen often, but our only other option is my husband's '93 Bronco but we don't want to rely on that anymore for long road trips. We also have a '61 Falcon Ranchero (mine) and a '78 Chevette (his)
I bought my Ranger beat up and barely running (2.3 5 speed) my uncles did all the mechanical work. I swapped on a stepside bed, power dome hood, 4x4 grille, black headlights, '06+ tail lights, and painted the whole thing pepper gray metallic. I eventually swapped on a 2010 front bumper and Lincoln turbines off a Mark VII but I don't have a good photo
First thing on my agenda is remove the running boards and install a Wheelskins steering wheel cover. I'd like taller tires and black headlight housings but that's not in the budget for awhile!
