HELP getting through FIREWALL

I have a 1995 EB explorer and i am trying to mount a pa speaker in the grill by my foglights, with my friends cars we could go through the hole in the firewall pretty easy but i cant figure out how to get through mine . all i have to fit through it is a speaker wire. i see the port that all the wires come through the firewall at but i cant see whether or not they lead into the engine compartment or not. Anyone Know PLEASE HELP

Two ways. There is an unused grommet for the clutch and/or poke a hole next to the hood release cable.
