just bought a 2008 eddie bauer explorer. vanity lights both don't work and the homelink doesn't work. 15amp fuse is good.checked wire diagram and the vanity lights get power from the homelink buttons. where would the homelink module be located? please myadog

Welcome aboard!! :salute:

I am not familiar with the 4th Gens, but I believe the Homelink is the Homelink. In other words, there is no module. Sounds like the Vanity Lights & Homelink aren't getting power.

In the 3rd Gens, the Vanity Lights & the Homelink are powered from the battery saver relay.

Some have reported that the wire for the vanity lights gets pinched by the mount for the visors.

I would recommend checking all fuses in the interior fuse panel and the fuse panel under the hood.

You can also do a search in the 4th Gen Sub Forum: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=111

Please keep us posted as feedback helps others reading this post looking for a fix to the same or similar issue!
