Changed out both front hub bearings last summer but noticed a humming noise coming from the left front again. Ordered another bearing and installed it only to still have the hum. The noise only occurs between 40-42mph. It does not happen at 39mph or at 43mph, just at that speed range.

I am at wits end on this. There are no codes thrown and the vehicle seems to drive just fine. The sound is certainly coming front the left front. Could a CV Joint be bad? A bad ball joint?

Thought?

easy way to check it is to drive at the speed where the noise occurs then move your steering left or right, if the noise disappears then the culprit is the opposite of where you're steering at (steering left=noise then right hub and vice-versa)

Don't rule out your tires, if the tread is wearing uneven it can cause similar noises, maybe rotate them to see if the noise changes.
