- 2010 explorer XLT
Hey all, here is a really weird one....
So I loaned my 2010 explorer xlt to my little brother, who went to the store and back, and when he returned, he tossed the keys across the room to me, but I wasnt able to catch them, they hit the floor and my key/keyfob popped apart. Its one where the key and the keyfob are one unit. So I put it back together and that was that.
But actualy its not.... Now the lock/unlock buttons on my fob are reversed... pressing lock unlocks the doors, and pressing unlock locks them....
My wifes key, which is the same type, still works properly, only mine is reversed.
Yes I verified that I put it back in right, It would be impossible to put it in backward or upside down due to its shape.....
I honestly dont even know where it start here.....
