OK.... I was getting the P0300 thru P0303 codes. I have opened up the timing cover and the guide/tensioner on the passenger side on the primary chain from Crank to Jack is destroyed. I am seeing alot of slack on the underside of the chain from the Jackshaft to the CAM (drivers side) and am not sure if I need a new tensioner. (hydrolic bolt that goes through the head) Would that tensioner take the slack out only when the car is running? I see that the guides are fine.
