This was so easy, its stupid not to have one.

Sealed all the pipes with high heat PVC sealant.

Now I can do this in my Explorer.

Yep. Works just fine too. I sealed the air box and kept the stock paper filter since i don't have a shroud to put on the outside filter to keep water out.
