My 1995 Aerostar likes to stall.

For a little bit now my Aerostar wants to stall and sometimes does.

When i'm at a red light while idling....about every 20 to 30 seconds my voltage meter will sink a bit and seem like it's gonna stall for a second then bounces back to normal.

And after driving for a period of time when i put it in reverse it sometimes stalls. Starts right back up no problem. This problem doesn't seem to happen until i've driven around for at least 20 mins. It also seems to want to stall when i change gears. Once i hit the gas it's all good.

Just last week i had my spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter changed. But it didn't take care of the problem.

I can drive on the highway for hours and have no problem....just idling and gear changes....especially reverse.

Clean the idle air control, mass air flow sensor, and the intake manifold. Add fuel injector cleaner, and check for vacuum leaks. Which engine do you have? Do you have a check engine light?
