Firstly, this will probably be a slow moving project. I'd like to have the bulk of stuff done in... 6 months lets say.

I have a '93 sitting around back with a trashed motor. 185k - it was a rattle bag, and finally gave it up. Then it was given to me. heh

There's a motor sitting here for it now, so that's first.

What I have in mind is fixing it up totally and only with parts from a junkyard, and see how far we can go with mods.

My target is long suspension travel, low ride height, the biggest tire that accommodates that (with gearing being considered).

All I've really got in mind now is:

Springs from a mid-80's F150 and doing the mods - installing front springs, and re-leafing the rear spring packs.

Front shock mounts from a late F250 (?) so we can get longer shocks on.

Ditch the sway bars of course.

I used to run a brake line relocater on the front of my current truck, so that squares that up I think - or use superduty lines i guess (which is what's on my DD Ex).

the project Ex is 3.73 L/S.. and I'm reading about using a D35 Heep L/S unit for the front.

I'd like to find some J/Y 16" wheels too.....

Anyone else got any ideas?
