I'm thinking of getting a JL audio stealthbox and 10w6 sub. When only running one it is at 3ohm, when I look at amp specs it says things like:

RMS Power: 250W x 1 @ 4 ohms
Bridged RMS Power: 500W x 1 @ 2 ohms

Would this amp deliver 500W to the 10w6 bridged?

Thanks

no it will be more like 300 to 325 depending the amp.
i forget the formula to roughly determine this, but expect between 300 to 350 max. you can wire it to run @ 1.5 ohms also. if your amp can handle that you will get the most out of it

How would you wire it to run 1.5 ohm?

Thanks

I see problems with using a steathbox and a 10w6.

1) the steathbox is only .6 cubic feet. to small for a w6 especialy a W6v2. even the vantage box is too small.
2) also have to look at mounting depth. both the Vantage and steathbox are made for a W0 or W1 both very shallow mounting. 10W6v2 mounting depth is 6.9" ! the standard w6 is 4.87" plus each require atleast 1" behind the speaker.

If using the standard W6 I would recomend wiring it for 3 ohm. as most well amde amps will handle a 3 ohm load. That is the way I am running my compitition car.
