Power steering pump replacement

I just drove my '93 Explorer from Seattle to Missouri and had a problem with the PS pump squalling like a banshee. It still works, but I plan on returning to Seattle next week and want to replace the pump prior to the trip. That being said, will a A1 Cardone pn: 20-6244 pump fit on the 4.0? This is a Saginaw pump with some mods done to it to allow it to be bolted in the place of the stock pump. Just wondering if anyone has actually done this swap before?

What's wrong with going with a stock replacement (Cardone 207252) ?

But hey, if:
- it bolts in
- the pulley is in the same plane as the original
- the number of ribs is the same

then you should be good to go.
