Took the belt off the check all pulleys. The PS pump pulley 'bumps' back and forth - in and out - slightly with the belt off. Maybe 1/4 inch.
Could this be causing my strange belt driven noise?? That noise is a bumping / clunking noise , not the PS pump whine or anything like it.
