Just replace master cylinder. Before then both my e-brake light and rearanti lock light were on. I ground the abs connector under the dash and got a code 4. This means rear abs valve, correct? Well after installing the master cylinder I started the truck and my brake light wasnt on, just the rear anti-lock light. Then I noticed that the sensor wire on the side of the master cylinder was unpluged. I pluged it back it and restarted the truck and low and behold the e-brake light was again lit. How does this make any sense that when i unplug it the light goes out but when I plug it back in it lights up?
