Question about rims/tire sizes

I have an opportunity to buy 4 rims that currently have 235/75R15 tires on them (not in good shape). I have stock rims that have 225/75R15 tires on them. Can I put my 225s on the new rims without hurting anything?

Do you know how wide the new rims are? 15x7", 15x8", etc.

Yes, the only difference in the width of the two tires is 10 millimeters, that will not make any difference what so ever
