Rear window washer question

I have a 2014 Explorer. The rear washer works and sprays the window; however, after I use it and open the rear hatch, there is washer fluid at the hose fitting where the small rubber hose (the one that carries the washer fluid to the rear nozzle) connects to the grommet that goes into the cabin of the vehicle (under the headliner). If someone has some time, can you use your rear window washer sprayer and then open your rear hatch and take a look at this area to see if it is wet with washer fluid?

I haven't checked to see if the MKT has the same setup. I'll have a look in the morning but I would think that the presence of fluid where you indicated is not a good sign.
