Replaced Intake Gaskets, STILL GETTING LEAN CODE WTF?

After much reading on the forums I was sure that the cause of my lean codes was the intake gaskets on my 99 4.0 sohc. Had those replaced today and it does idle smoother but on the way home today popped up with another 171. Any other ideas? The truck has new plugs, wires, intake gaskets, and fuel filter. I did a search but it seems like everyone who replaced their intake gaskets fixed their problems.

also forgot to mention, its hard to start, turns over quite some time before starting but always starts, kind've unusual to me

Check fuel pressure, faulty/clogged injector.

went i did my uppers, i pullled and cleaned the injectors. if you do that you'll need to replace the orings that go with it.
